Americana Key Lime Pie

1 tb Unflavored gelatin (1 env.)
4 Egg whites
1/2 c Sugar
1/2 c Sugar
1/4 ts Salt
1 c Heavy cream; whipped
4 Egg yolks
1 9-in baked pastry shell
1/2 c Lime juice
Pistachio nuts; chopped
1/4 c Water
Lime slices for garnish
1 ts Grated lime peel
Heavy cream, whipped; to top
Few drops green food color
Thoroughly mix gelatin, 1/2 cup sugar, and salt in saucepan. Beat
together
