Pea-Cheddar Sandwich Spread

2 Cups
1/2 c Dry Split Peas
2 c Water
2 c Cheddar Cheese ,grated
1/2 Onion, chopped finely
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Cook peas in water until tender. In a blender place cooked
peas,cheese, onion, salt and pepper. Blend until smooth. Spread on
